The main idea of  Diego Hidalgo Schnur on establishing the Fundación Maimona was to create an instrument to contribute to the cultural, economic and social development of the town and the inhabitants of Los Santos de Maimona, by supplying support for all sorts of cultural, business and innovative projects that contribute to this objective, based on sustainability.

Our will is to promote specific strategies to collaborate in the construction of an exemplary collective project, able to configure a town that is dynamic, prosperous, socially advanced and fully incorporated into new social, cultural and economic models.

To do this, we put at the disposal of these aims our human, financial and relational resources and we have established a work methodology for the Fundación to work as a lever for development.

The Fundación Maimona was born in 2000 with the intention, above all, to collaborate. For us the fundamental principle is to establish intense and enriching preferential relations, with private and public organisations, non-profit or otherwise, to collaborate in the development of this project, which aims to be exemplary.
